Baby Photoshoots - Emerald

As a mum, I know how exciting it is to have a newborn in your home. Babies are tiny bundles of joy with a seemingly endless supply of cuteness. But, among the feeding, nappy changing and sleepless nights, these first few weeks fly past. So it’s important to record these fleeting moments before they are gone forever.

With over 10 years of newborn photography experience, I offer professional newborn photography sessions to help mums and dads in Emerald document the first few weeks of their baby’s life. Through my photos, you can forever crystallise this small but precious slice of time.

If you want a baby photoshoot, I recommend booking a consultation with me while you’re still expecting bubs. This way, we can plan ahead and have the photoshoot ready for the weeks after birth.

One of my biggest regrets as a mother is not taking the time to have professional photos taken of my newborn daughter – I thought I could do it on my own and even as a photographer myself, I didn’t! Sure, I had some cute photos on my phone, but I didn't have any professional shots that I wanted to hang on the wall.

The weeks went by too fast and before I knew it, the small and squishy days of my newborn daughter became a distant memory. I learned the hard way that if you don't take the time to appreciate and record those moments, you will never get the chance again.

With my services, my aim is to help parents in Melbourne capture the special moments that I wasn’t able to. You’ll enjoy your portraits each day as your child grows, and once your bubba is all grown up, you can pass those photos down to them or even their children. Your portraits will be timeless and an investment you and your family have forever.

During my newborn photoshoots, I always put the baby’s health first. I’m trained in infant safety and using techniques that create beautiful images whilst keeping your baby safe, and will do all I can to make sure your newborn is safe and snug during the shoot. I’m also triple COVID vaccinated and vaccinated for the flu and whooping cough.

Family Photography and Maternity Photoshoots

If you want a professional photoshoot for the whole family, I can also do family photography sessions in-studio or on my beautiful property in Pakenham Upper. If you want to show off your baby bump, I also do maternity photoshoots.
